What a sediment pre-filter does and why it’s important:
Any homeowner that has well water can tell you there’s a lot of particles that can be found in the water. Before you install any whole house water filtration system, it’s necessary to install a sediment pre-filter.
These handy pre-filters remove the sediment that, if left in the water, could clog the whole house filtration system. Our sediment pre-filter uses a 5 micron cartridge that will solve this problem easily and effectively.
The sediment pre-filter can be easily replaced in less than 5 minutes. This may be required 1 – 3 times per year, depending on water volume and amount of sediment in the water.
